Salzbourg, The city of Mozart

Salzburg is very famous because it's the hometown of Mozart.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was Born on the 27 of January 1756 in Salzburg, Austria and
died in the 5th of December 1791 in Vienna, Austria.
His style period was classical 1750-1820
Mozart was no doubt the greatest child star that ever lived. He was traveling all over Europe playing music by the time he was six.

Because of his constant travels, Mozart eventually learned to speak fifteen different languages.
He wrote his first sonata for the piano when he was four and composed his first opera when he was twelve .He composed very quickly and wrote huge amounts of music. One famous piece that he wrote was Variations on "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star."When He was already ill, and in his state of mind he became convinced that he was writing music for his own funeral. During his lifetime, Mozart was very well-known but spent money faster than he could earn it. He was poor and in debt when he died of kidney failure at the age of 35 and was buried in an unmarked grave. Mozart is considered by some to be the greatest composer who ever lived. While most composers specialize in certain kinds of pieces, Mozart created masterful works for almost every category of music - vocal music, concertos, chamber music, symphonies, sonatas, and opera.
According to the testimony of his contemporaries, he was a virtuoso on piano and violin.
Mozart wrote over 600 works during his lifetime, including 41 symphonies, Eine Kleine Nachtmusik (en français: une petite musique de nuit), and 27 piano concertos. Three of his most famous operas include The Marriage of Figaro, The Magic Flute and Don Giovanni. He is also famous for his Requiem mass.
The name of Mozart passed into everyday language as a synonym of  genius, virtuosity and perfect mastery.

The Leopold Mozart family lived from 1747 to 1773 in the house located at 9 of the Getreidegasse, in Salzburg. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born there on January 27, 1756. The Mozart family's apartment is now a museum. Famous exhibits include Mozart's child violin, concert violin, clavichord, piano forte, portraits and letters from the Mozart family.

What is known today as the Mozartplatz Square in the heart of the old town of Salzburg just next to the Neue Residentz.The central piece on interest is the Mozart memorial by Ludwig Schwanthaler.

So, Salzburg has a very ingrained artistic history in the culture of the city because of Mozart. A lot of children play an instrument and some balls are organized. Every years, a lot of people from all around the world visit this beautiful and musical city.
